It’s no secret that I am a Qantas fan when it comes to Airlines in Australia, not to mention the history and famous flying Kangaroo. As the Qantas fleet moves into the modern era with more fuel efficient, quieter and longer range aircraft such as the Airbus A380 and soon to be delivered Boeing 787-9, its fleet of Classic 747s remain close to the heart of many airliner enthusiasts. I’m glad I started photographing airliners at a time where I got to see these classics in service.
